What was so cool...that night is you walked into a bar and EVERY one was singing Bon Jovi songs because the bars were playing all Bon Jovi songs, so like I walked in and these girls I don't even know come up singing and me and my friend are standing there singing with them and then the whole bar was singing...
my limo driver Matt (he has been our limo driver for 4 years~ for special occasions and we just love him) he came in and was singing with us :)

I WENT TO BON JOVI AGAIN!!!

Hey everyone, I am delighted to show you more Bon Jovi pictures from the April 22nd concert.

One of my most memorable moments is when he just seemed to look right at me and Smile...

what a fun guy and the whole band was great!

EJ said: (my husband) Baby do you really need to see this band twice?"

I said, "I really do honey..I just love sneaking my camera in!!"

That is true, but I have enjoyed this band since I was in 7th grade (they weren't that big then)

and I would have gotten some even better shots if I hadn't had to sneak and shoot...

After I took about 40 shots..a security guy told me_ my camera was "too big to be shooting in Sprint" imagine that :)

Bon Jovi Rocks Kansas City!! If anyone knows me well they know that I LOVE Bon Jovi..I always have.
I went to the Thursday night concert and it was wonderful!My husband told me when they sang "I'll be there for you" to picture my husband singing that to me ~ not Bon Jovi (I said of course I will dear :)...... I thought that was really sweet.

It was a fun concert and SOLD out too. I will go again with some good friends on Tuesday!I can't believe that I am going to see them again!Here are a few photo's to share with you guys from the concert- enjoy

Winning Big In Vegas - WPPI Winner!

Hi Everybody!

We just got back from WPPI and it was so very nice to hang out with some of my very favorite Photography friends!!! I have been going to WPPI for about six years and have made a lot of great friends that I treasure.

A BIG congratulations to DOUG BOX and his beautiful wife LaVelda!! I just love them! I sat with them on the awards night. :)

Wow was there a lot of talent displayed at this convention and so many wonderful photographers from 33 countries.

I have never entered a photography contest in my life and Rick Ferro had been telling me for a while that I should enter my images...so this year I did!!! :)

I entered WPPI's 16x20 contest and WON SIX TIMES!!! YEAH BABY..

There were over 3000 prints entered from all over the world and only a selected few were chosen by come VERY tough judges. ONLY THE BEST OF THE BEST WERE CHOSEN.

Thank you WPPI for giving me The Awards of EXCELLENCE SIX TIMES!

Did I mention it was SIX times??? (I am smiling!!!)

I am still absorbing that... can you tell???

Below are the photos that won BIG!!! I have to tell you I was in the audience when the print of the guys with their pants down was judged and it had been so quiet in the room (it is a very serious event) and when this photograph came up... there was instant laughter in the room! How cool, I love it when an image can make you smile.

I ALSO ENTERED THE BEST OF WEDDINGS CONTEST SPONSERED BY EVENTPIX AND RANGEFINDER.

I was voted Best of Weddings for 2007 3 times!!! My prints were at a WPPI booth. These images are below. Hope you enjoy them!

When planning for our wedding, one of the most important things to us was finding an awesome photographer to capture our special day. Our search for that photographer ended when we met Teri at Flashes Photography! We were already familiar with Teri's work since one of our closest friends had her as their photographer for their wedding, but we had no idea how special she was until our first meeting at her home. We were greeted by an energetic, enthusiastic, and genuinely kind person who gave us both great big hugs like we were old friends. Kenyon and I loved her immediately! We both related to her so well, and her work, well that speaks for itself. Her studio was just amazing! We loved her pictures because they weren't just generic photographs of the wedding party posing at the front of the church, but real moments of you just being yourself with your friends, family, and the one that you love. From our engagement photos to the wedding photos, Terri has completely blown us away with her amazing talent. We would NEVER recommend anyone else! WE LOVE YOU, TERRI! The wedding was so much fun in San Diego..what a beautiful place to have a wedding!
The wedding was on Saturday. Sunday my cousin Angie (which assists me on weddings) and I we went down to Mexico.I had heard that you can ride horse's on Rosarito Beach and that's all it took to get me there...I love horse's and I love the beach! We stayed all day and then headed back before dark~ What a great weekend! :) Here is a few pictures to share...

Flashes Photography is the Director of Photography for the hottest new television show in Kansas City called AfterHours! It will be airing in the fall on a local Kansas City channel. As Kasey and I began the fatiguing task of planning the wedding of our dreams it was agreed upon both of us that lasting impressions of the day were essential. Not only did we want pictures of quality but most importantly we wanted memories to display for years to come. After first meeting Teri and witnessing the joy and passion she exudes we quickly grew excited to have her capture our day. She is such a wonderful photographer and an absolute riot to be around. Although Teriʼs devotion was needed elsewhere on our day of commitment her life long partner gladly fulfilled her obligations. We couldnʼt have been more surprised that not only is Teri such an ease to be around but her husband as well. His professionalism and creative mind turned out some of the best shots weʼve taken. EJ did a remarkable job capturing the joy and happiness we shared through the day. Itʼs such a rare thing these days to find good people who enjoy and take pride in what they do. . Because of Flashesʼ artistic moments in time we will always have the memories and feelings of that day to share forever.
